"Anime is the future", I read this online. Of course without any denying, Anime and Manga are the most dominant entertainment for a lot of kids and even adults, period. I love the way how these Japanese Anime's and Manga's can turn fictional characters into much more by taking us into a roller coaster of emotions. We love it as animation and comics but are we even ready to watch them as Live-Action ? To me it's a clear no.
Well how could anyone forget that awful remake of the anime 'Death Note'. Netflix really did them dirty and destroyed all my favorite characters. There was Tokyo Ghoul which was a mess too. And then there was Dragon Ball evolution, a live action movie of Dragon Ball z which was not much linked to the anime still it sucked it a lot of ways. And a lot more but i am not going to mention every single one of them, as it all was a mess anyway.
1. Naruto - Announced by Lions Gate in 2015
2. One Punch Man - Announced by Sony Pictures(2020)
3. One Piece - Announced by Netflix
4. Your Name - Director : Marc Webb
5. Sword Art Online - Announced by Netflix
6. Full Metal Alchemist - Netflix
7. Cowboy Bebop - Under Development by Netflix
8. Attack on Titan - Director of 'IT' is attached to this remake
9. Akira - Taika Waititi's adaptation might hit the theater by 2021
10. Lone wolf and cub
I do hope Netflix or any other Hollywood production studio stops making these live action remakes that no fan has ever asked for. Otakus, Weebs and all the Reddit forums find it lame. Lets hope that in the near future these studios gets to know this and stop making these ridiculous remakes.
