Super Mario Bros. - The Gaming Revolutionary

Recently, Forbes India stated that Global Gaming Industry is in tremendous growth phase. Particularly, In the Indian subcontinent, it has grown into a multi million Dollar industry in recent years buoyed by the Internet and smart phone invasion across the country. Also, the effect of this Lock down has made this burgeoning sector more dominant. Of course, none can deny it, as it has been visually evident . It has become an usual that kids, teens and all irrespective of their age go crazy over gadgets to play games. That includes the exclusive gaming gadgets like X-boxes and Play station which revolutionised the gaming experience from the 8 Bit characters to the greatest 3D Avatars!.

To be more true, being  late 90's kid, to me Video game was all about a Mario and only Super Mario. My Cousins and I used to spend hours playing Mario in our home town and would never feel exhausted, no matter how many times we fail. Meanwhile,Owning a Video game became the greatest wish and Somehow I managed to owe it, when I was in Grade 2. That feel of holding the Joystick, can never be replaced. What mattered the most was its  "My own Joystick❤ !' and now that I can have peace in my realm. Being an Singling, this Italian Plumber, Mario, never let me lonesome and its sound " Tu Dun Tutudun Tun Tunn" has always been the anthem of my home for the next 6 years.

It was on 1981, he made his first appearance in the game named "Donkey Kong" as a minor Character and  became the most successful character in the video games history. It is really very rare to meet someone who never came across this Plumber man,Mario. More than 200 games have been released in the past 30 years and he has come a very long way. But one of its biggest breakthrough version was The Super Mario Bros.- 1985 by the Japanese Nintendo game console. Over 222 million unit sold across all genres and platforms and that is Incredible !. This remains the best sold video game franchise of all time.He is an Super Hero, trying to find the lost princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. He jumps over the barrels, busts bricks by jumping up,fire the ducks and Monkey heads, jumps and collect the coins floating in the sky, grows in size immediately after having mushroom, jumps over the flagpole.Basically, He jumps all the time and also called as 'Jump Man'. Behind all these Baggy roles there lies an amazing game design that withstood for years. The game was designed in a such a way that ,to give the player 'a feel' like they are exploring and conquering the strange world.Though it did not promise a high standard graphics and 3D Models comparably with the today's trend, it had everything that can completely engage the players with high degree of fun and enjoyment, needed for an commercial video game.

He was the one who led me to the world of Gaming (Perhaps the nerd glasses too🤓) and it was where the seed sown.Am not a typical Gamer though. To me gaming is all about having Fun and Amusement.Through all these years, eventually, Joystick has become the 'Love of Life' and never knew when I would run out of this craziness.

Its Hopeless and thats a Happieee Hopelessness !!
