EIA 2020 : WHY THE NEXT 10 DAYS ARE IMPORTANT ?

10 DAYS LEFT !! With only 10 days left for public participation of objecting to the EIA draft proposal 2020, it is imperative that you understand and question the proposal NOW.

SO HOW CAN YOU HELP?
. Send e-mails to Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change [MOEFCC]

2. Actively communicate to help spread the information to the public through your social media channels.

TO REACH SCHOOL/COLLEGE GROUPS: Post stories on social media with captions mentioning the days left for the draft to be approved and share any poster you feel makes so much sense.Message 10 or more friends (ideally non-mutual) and kick-off the conversation with them.

TO REACH YOUR FAMILY: Send related posts to them on WhatsApp. For the posts, you can rely on the following people in instagram @fridaysforfuture.delhi @materionomics .These people are creating visual aids using posts and are breaking down complex points from the draft, while explaining some of its implications.

TO REACH RANDOM PEOPLE : Casually strike a conversation and ask" How's everything going !?" use this as a base to start a personal conversation and ask them to share the word further.

3. Finally ensure that atleast 5 or more emails get sent on your part from different mail ids. we feel that the media is not being vocal about EIA and is not a part of the mainstream conversation. So, its high-time we convince our family, friends or colleagues and ensure that atleast few mails get sent from our part before 11 AUGUST 2020!
