Chapter 7- ft.MSD

It was the post match press conference, after the knock out of Indian team at Semifinals of wT20-2016, arose a question to Dhoni on his retirement. Wheather he would continue playing the game of shorter formats or not. He  made it sensational by turning over the reporter and the answer was explicitly NO. But now, the time has come and decision was to take up the other side. Perhaps, MSD's decision can never be wrong !

The Journey of Indian Cricket team was not an easy trial and it has come a really long way. It was Kapil Dev who showed us , its possible ! but , Once again? its an hard nut to crack. It took a decade to lay the blueprint of the new competing Indian Team and It was MS.DHONI, shouldering the efforts of the Council, big dream of the young squad to lift the cup again. It was his one giant step further, that made us not just the Winner, 2011, but the Serial Winners . MS was the reason behind many lads of India to have a faith on Indian team. I remember watching him on the TV for the first time with the blonde long hair in the field and that was when the Indian Cricketing story began to roar. It still feels like yesterday, screaming and going insane, while Ravi Shastri commentating ,"Dhoni finishes off in style. A magnificent strike into the ground ". That night can never be forgotten, and till date that holds emotions of millions. He is the genius behind the stumps as fast as the lightning. If MS plays till the end, then Victory is a 'for sure' thing.

MS Dhoni was never about trophies and the records. For an Indian Cricket fan grown up in 90's and 20's, Dhoni is a Protagonist, with a stunning degree of leadership skills. It was always his serenity towards the game that took him heights. Be it an Win or Lose, he never failed to grin. Watching him getting into the field made our adrenaline rush. Yellow has become the choice of color for many. "Thala"is not just a word, its an emotion to the CSK clan. Cricket will never be the same anymore. There in the field, we would definitely miss his face, behind the stumps.

May be its time for his Helicopters to land, but its highly impossible to forget how he made us feel

Happy Retirement, our all time CAPTAIN !

Cheers ; ) !
